Designing and building an enterprise digital experience for a business operating across AI, sustainability intelligence, regulatory technology, and mobility solutions.

Project Overview

Marklytics had evolved into a business with multiple advanced technology offerings, but their digital presence no longer reflected the level of innovation behind the company.

The existing experience felt dated, the product and service architecture lacked clarity, and the breadth of offerings risked overwhelming users unfamiliar with the business.

The challenge was to redesign the experience so it felt modern, credible, and aligned with the expectations of an enterprise technology company while making complex offerings easier to understand and navigate.

My Role

I owned the project end to end, including:

  • UX strategy

  • user interface design

  • information architecture

  • CMS architecture

  • responsive design across desktop, tablet, and mobile

  • full website implementation in Wix

The Challenge

One of the biggest challenges was balancing depth with clarity.

Marklytics offers multiple specialised services and products, including:

  • ESG benchmarking platforms

  • EV battery passport solutions

  • global compliance simulation tools

  • AI-driven mobility intelligence

  • sustainability consulting and technical services

Surfacing everything at once would have created unnecessary complexity. The experience needed to communicate capability without overwhelming users.

Design Approach

Simplifying Complexity Through Structure

The core focus of this project was information architecture.

Because the business had a broad and technical offering, navigation needed to feel structured rather than overloaded.

I intentionally kept the primary navigation focused and used a layered mega-menu structure to organise deeper services in a way that remained easy to scan and understand.

This approach helped break down complexity into manageable decision paths rather than forcing users to process everything at once.

The decision was influenced by cognitive load principles grouping information in digestible layers so users could navigate confidently through a technically dense ecosystem.

Product Architecture

Marklytics had multiple flagship offerings that needed clearer separation and stronger positioning:

ImpactLens Mobility™ESG benchmarking for automotive suppliers

ComplyIQ™Global regulatory scenario simulation platform

EV Battery Passport SolutionsTraceability, compliance, and lifecycle intelligence

A major part of the redesign involved structuring these products so each felt distinct while still belonging within a cohesive enterprise ecosystem.

Responsive Experience

The experience was designed and built responsively across:

  • desktop

  • tablet

  • mobile

Special attention was given to maintaining navigation clarity and content hierarchy across different screen sizes, particularly given the depth of the site structure.

Outcome

The final result was a fully redesigned and developed enterprise website that better reflects Marklytics’ technical credibility, improves discoverability across products and services, and creates a scalable foundation for future growth through CMS-driven content architecture.
